Siemens USA has kicked off the four-day 2018 Infrastructure Week with a showcase of its cloud-based offerings that can connect city data to leverage infrastructures in the U.S.
The automation company said Monday it is coordinating with government and business leaders and infrastructure experts during the event, which aims to enhance U.S. facilities and systems.
“Our digital capabilities bring data to life and help cities unlock their potential when it comes to infrastructure investment,†said Barbara Humpton, CEO of Siemens Government Technologies. Humpton participated in a panel discussion on the first day of event, speaking about developing efficient infrastructures for the 21st century.
Siemens will present its City Performance Tool at the event as part of a collaborative effort with the City of Los Angeles to meet its sustainability goals through its infrastructure decisions.
The firm will also announce its investments in U.S.-based software and manufacturing firms that will help expand Siemens Building Technologies’ offerings.
