A Sparton–Ultra Electronics joint venture has received $70.3 million in subcontracts to produce sonobuoys for the U.S. Navy.
The subcontracts are part of ERAPSCO‘s five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and covers sonobuoy requirements for the government’s 2018 fiscal year, Sparton said Tuesday.
ERAPSCO plans to distribute the production funds to Ultra Electronics USSI and Sparton De Leon Springs businesses.
Work will take place at facilities located in Indiana and Florida through March 2020.
