Tyonek Native Corporation‘s Stennis subsidiary will provide manufacturing and modification services for a C-130H model aircraft in support of Scientific Research Corporation‘s efforts to enhance the aircraft with an updated, all-digital radar warning receiver.
Tyonek said Thursday it will perform manufacturing services for A-Kits and Trail/Verification Aircraft Installations under a contract that includes options for the production of additional A-Kits.
The U.S. Air Force awarded in February a $10.9 million contract to SRC to integrate and install AN/ALR-69A(V) radar warning receiver technologies on the service branch’s C-130H aircraft.
Fiber optics will be used to enhance data transfer and reduce the weight of the system.
