Lockheed Martin has announced it will bid on contract to build a unified technology platform for the U.S. Air Force to manage cross-domain cybersecurity missions.
The company said Tuesday its cyber solutions arm will offer the Henosis integrated mission system that works to integrate cyber functions into air, land, maritime and space operations.
Henosis is a command-and-control battle management visualization platform designed to to coordinate defensive and offensive cyber operations, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance functions.
Deon Viergutz, vice president of cyber solutions at Lockheed’s rotary and mission systems business, said the company has conducted in-depth engineering analysis of a Henosis prototype and aims to demonstrate cyber activities over the next year.
Viergutz added he believes a unified platform can help the cyber mission force leverage the convergence of cyber and electronic warfare.
