Northrop Grumman presented its transreceiver and radio frequency technology products designed to support electromagnetic warfare missions during an Association of Old Crows-hosted symposium that took place in Washington, D.C.
The Multifunction Transceiver is built to function through multiple channels, operating frequencies and bandwidths, Northrop said Monday.
The company intends for MFX to help facilitate the development of integrated platforms in the electronic warfare, communications, radar and signals intelligence areas.
Northrop also developed analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters that work to support direct RF sampling and synthesis as well as to address size, weight and power requirements for payloads.
The digital conversion tools were integrated with a prototype multifunction system and demonstrated a capacity of to support disparate mission requirements.
