Octo Consulting Group has received a potential five-year, $11.1 million contract to help the Department of Health and Human Services manage information technology programs and systems.
The company said Tuesday it will provide administrative, program and vendor management services to HHS’s IT strategy, policy and governance office as part of efforts to help the department address IT challenges.
The contract has a one-year base period and four one-year options.
Jay Shah, an Octo executive vice president, said the company seeks to help the department comply with internal and external metrics such as the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act.
Octo’s partner iVision will provide IT planning support services to HHS through the contract.
