Envistacom has secured a five-year, $10 million delivery order to support tactical communications systems at the U.S. Army‘s Enterprise Satellite Communications Gateway Facility in Landstuhl, Germany.
The company said Wednesday it will help manage the facility’s systems built to aid training and operational missions of Army and joint forces deployed in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Those systems include the Satellite Communications System, Teleport and Regional Hub Node and Standardized Tactical Entry Point.
Alan Carson, a vice president of Envistacom, said the company aims to provide mission-critical technology for warfighters to counter various threats.
The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground awarded the delivery order via the Global Tactical Advanced Communications Systems and Support acquisition vehicle.
Work will also include mission-critical communications and operations support for the service branch’s 2nd Theater Signal Brigade and 102nd Strategic Signal Battalion.
