The U.S. Navy has awarded Booz Allen Hamilton a potential five-year, $13.2 million contract modification to extend its enterprise management and technical support to the Navy Information Force’s Shore Modernization and Integration Directorate.
Booz Allen will continue to support the directorate in the areas of enterprise architecture and operational transition planning; shore network and communications modernization; information technology service management process standardization; cybersecurity; and IT portfolio management, the Defense Department said Friday.
The modification exercises the second option year of a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that contains a one-year base period and four one-year options.
DoD noted the exercised option will bring the total value of the contract to $39.6 million and the cumulative amount could reach $66 million if all options are exercised.
Work will occur in Suffolk, Virginia; San Diego, California; and Charleston, South Carolina through August 2018.
