The Defense Information Systems Agency has submitted a dismissal request and notice of corrective action to the Government Accountability Office after two companies protested the award of a contract to Leidos for a new joint and coalition command-and-control fires support platform, Defense News reported Thursday.
A spokesman for DISA said the agency will release a public version of the notice that contains source selection and proprietary data once it secures approval from GAO lawyers for the request, Jen Judson writes.
DISA awarded Leidos a potential five-year, $98 million contract in December to provide the U.S. Army with the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System.
General Dynamics’ mission systems business filed a protest with GAO days after Raytheon challenged the AFATDS contract award.
Northrop Grumman also participated in the AFATDS competition, the report added.
