The General Services Administration has awarded CertiPath a contract to provide identity credential and access management services to the federal government.
CertiPath said Tuesday it will help GSA analyze, coordinate, define and recommend standards for civilian agencies to implement Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management technology as well as develop functional requirements for physical and logical access control products.
Work under the contract will support the FICAM architecture, the Federal Information Processing Standard Publication 201 evaluation program, the Federal Public Key Infrastructure Policy Authority and the Trust Framework Solutions effort.
CertiPath CEO Shawn Hughes said the company aims to bring new services and PKI expertise to the agency’s FICAM program.
CertiPath’s products use the Trust Fabric interconnection of trusted participants CertiPath helped to create in an effort to validate access to critical assets through high assurance credentials.
