Prescient has released its mobile application for traveler safety on the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency‘s GEOINT app store.
The company said Wednesday Defense Department and Intelligence Community personnel with common access cards can now download the Prescient Traveler app directly to approved mobile devices for free use across the globe.
Prescient Traveler offers cultural information and visuals for more than 650 global locations; real-time alerts on user proximity to street-level risk zones and travel locations; and a map that displays the user’s position in relation to street, city and country-level risks as well as threats and significant events.
David Walsh, Prescient CEO, said the app is designed to help unit leaders provide a personal level of care for their people.
Prescient Traveler is available for Android and iOS users.
