PepperBall, a division of United Tactical Systems, has entered into a partnership agreement with the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center in Amman, Jordan, to create non-lethal training course for global police, military and security forces.
The course will contain a three-day weapons, tactics and armorers’ training program as well as training on PepperBall’s Variable Kinetic System launcher, PepperBall said Friday.
VKS is designed to shoot projectiles from 280 to 400 feet per second and fire PepperBall’s round and VXR shaped projectiles.
Glenn Katz, executive vice president of global sales at PepperBall, said the company’s partnership with KASOTC seeks to help “address the increased regional demand for tactical non-lethal solutions for police, military and special operations.â€
KASOTC is a premier training center for police, military and special operations in the Middle East.
PepperBall manufactures .68 launchers, OC/PAVA projectiles and other non-lethal products for government agencies in 45 countries worldwide.
