NCR will supply four self-service kiosks for the New York and Los Angeles Veteran’s Day Parades committees to help assist veterans and individuals during the event.
The company said Monday its Veterans Kiosks are designed to utilize a coordinated network of organizations to connect and refer veterans, service members and military families to services, resources and care programs.
The kiosks will work to provide a point-of-service for former servicemembers and their dependents through NCR’s self-service technology.
Tom Verbeck, vice president and chief technical officer of NCR’s government solutions subsidiary, said veterans can use the self-service platform to view their benefits and entitlements in real time.
“Our goal is to extend the Department of Veterans Affairs outreach, and leverage existing VA services provided by non-profit veterans’ organizations and agencies, as well as existing Veteran’s programs like My Healthy Vet and Tricare,†said Stan Ratcliffe, president of NCR Government Solutions.
He added that the kiosks will also feature links to support veterans to search for jobs.
