Versar has received a $14.8 million task order from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Middle to support oversight of military construction projects in Afghanistan.
Springfield, Virginia-based Versar said Wednesday it will continue to assist Afghan engineering and technical staff as well as collaborate with USACE personnel who manage projects across the country.
The order falls under a previously awarded Afghan services contract.
“Versar and our team of professionals are honored that USACE-MED has entrusted us with supporting this critical effort,” said Versar CEOÂ Tony Otten.
The company provides construction management, environmental and professional services to public and private sector customers.
