Summit Consulting has received a pair of contracts to from the U.S. Labor Department‘s chief evaluation office to assess a civil law enforcement program run by the Employee Benefits Security Administration and develop business intelligence tools to support EBSA’s investigative efforts.
The company said Wednesday it will build BI reporting tools based on multiple predictive models in an effort to help the department manage resources for enforcement operations.

EBSA aims to protect retirement and welfare benefits for many private-sector employee benefits plans.
The agency oversees the administration and enforcement of Title I of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 to ensure that retirement plans and health plans comply with the law’s reporting, disclosure, and fiduciary provisions.
Washington-based Summit provides analytics advisory services to federal agencies, financial institutions and litigators.
