MIL will continue to update and manage the information technology infrastructure of the Commerce Department‘s International Trade Administration under a contract from ITA’s office of the chief information officer.
The company said Monday it will help ITA OCIO oversee the agency’s network and infrastructure across 150 locations inside and outside the continental U.S.
MIL will also modernize ITA’s core infrastructure on Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Office365 as well as provide mobile ready platforms to the agency.
ITA has worked with the company over the past 15 years to implement new applications, manage a service desk and migrate systems to infrastructure-as-a-service and software-as-a-service platforms.
The agency aims to promote fair trade through the implementation of trade laws and agreements as well as helps U.S. businesses to compete in the domestic and international markets.
