Catapult has unveiled a new data analysis methodology in an effort to change and update the way the government processes data and delivers insight.
The company said Thursday it presented a pilot project on the use of the Agile Analytics methodology on the Microsoft Azure cloud-hosted Business Analytics and Reporting data platform during a forum organized by the Texas department of information resources.
Catapult noted DIR and four other Texas agencies took part in the demonstration at the DIR Technology Forum.
The company’s Agile Analytics methodology works to mitigate administrative burden and support the data-backed programs of agencies, as well as provide government employees and citizens access to data-driven insights.
Michael Kennedy, Catapult’s director of public sector cloud strategy, said the company will work to expand the Agile Analytics methodology across other states following the pilot project in Texas.
