Invisio has secured an additional estimated $1.2 million order from the U.S. Army to provide technology in support of the Tactical Communication and Protective System modernization program.
The company said Thursday it will deliver the TCAPS technology within 2016.
TCAPS is a hearing protection and communication modernization program the Army oversees with the program executive office for soldiers.
Invisio received a one-year, $11.8 million order from the Army in June to provide hearing protection and communication systems for TCAPS.
The company said it received both orders via its partner TEA Headsets.
The Army has implemented the company’s technology since 2013 in efforts to mitigate the risk of hearing loss and provide communication services to users.
