The General Services Administration‘s 18F organization has issued a request for proposals via GitHub that seeks implementation support for a consumer-facing interagency authentication platform for citizen services, FedScoop reported Friday.
Billy Mitchell writes 18F wants a vendor team that could provide technical features to the login.gov identity management platform, which is scheduled to be launched in November 2016.
The chosen contractor would help 18F integrate the identity tool with agency code bases, address agencies’ identity issues and update the identity platform to meet agency needs through a base period of three months and the succeeding three-month option period, the report said.
The new RFP represents the second contract under 18F’s agile delivery services blanket purchase agreement.
The first Agile BPA task order was awarded to TrueTandem in June to develop a dashboard for the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
18F selected 16Â vendors in August 2015 to compete for task orders under the Agile BPA vehicle.
