Booz Allen Hamilton’s systems delivery organization has achieved Maturity Level 5 rating under the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development framework.
The CMMI ML 5 status was granted after an independent appraiser evaluated Booz Allen’s implementation of process-based methods in software development, the company said Monday.
Gary Labovich, executive vice president at Booz Allen, said the rating seeks to recognize the company’s systems capture and delivery functions as part of its Vision 2020 growth strategy.
The CMMI ML 5 rating suggests that an organization continuously updates its processes based on its performance requirements and business objectives.
