Concurrent Technologies Corp. has transitioned a web-based electronic safety, health and wellness tool to the National Park Service in an effort to help assess the wellness of NPS employees.
CTC and NPS jointly developed the e-Tool to measure progress across national parks, historic sites, battlefields and programs in conjunction to the implementation of the NPS strategy, CTC said Thursday.
Gabrielle Fisher serves as the program manager for the employee wellness program at NPS within the agency’s risk management office.
“This continues our record of success in helping organizations maintain visibility in their efforts to reduce lost worktime, minimize risks and take care of employees,†said Greg Jablunovsky, project manager and director of professional services for CTC’s affiliate Enterprise Ventures Corp.
CTC used agile project method to develop a beta version needed to test the system for NPS and the tool incorporates personal identity verification cards for user authentication.
The tool is also designed in compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology security controls and federal accessibility standards.
NPS’ director approved the tool in October 2015 and the system entered initial deployment in February 2016.
