Bowhead Business and Technology Solutions has received a potential five-year, $48 million contract to provide support services to the U.S. Army’s information technology laboratory.
The Defense Department said Wednesday that the Army Corps of Engineers awarded the order-dependent contract via an online solicitation and DoD expects Bowhead to finish work by May 31, 2021.
ITL provides IT platforms for the service branch and other DoD components through research and development work across the areas of informatics, software engineering, computational science, systems engineering and high-performance computing.
Alexandria, Virginia-based Bowhead Business and Technology Solutions, an Alaska native small-disadvantaged company, offers strategy development, technology and business platforms, software design, operational modeling and application management services to government agencies, commercial firms and nonprofit organizations.
