SAP NS2’s nonprofit organization has received recognition from the White House for the organization’s initiative meant to train and place veterans and military spouses in private sector jobs.
NS2 Serves was recognized at a White House Joining Forces employment announcement event hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama and Jill Biden, NS2 Serves said Thursday.
The nonprofit is among the companies and organizations that vowed to expand career development and employment opportunities for veterans and military spouses over the next five years.
“Like all military units, our veteran students work together to tackle the studies, tasks and challenges presented to them to earn a career in IT consultancy,†said Mark Testoni, president of NS2 Serves and CEO of SAP NS2.
NS2 Serves’ three-month in-residence program focuses on SAP software training in support of various U.S. government and business missions.
Participants receive the Certified SAP Associate status upon graduation.
