Lifeport, a Sikorsky company, has won a $24 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to supply hospital and medical equipment to U.S. military organizations.
The Defense Department said Tuesday that Lifeport will deliver the equipment to the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps as well as federal civilian agencies through May 23, 2021.
Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support will use fiscal year 2016 through fiscal 2021 defense working capital funds to pay for contract work.
The agency received 92 proposals for the contract through a competitive procurement, DoD noted.
Lifeport produces stretcher systems, life support, armor, powered loading systems, seating, interior and utility flooring equipment for various military and commercial aircraft platforms.
