The U.S. Army has awarded a five-year, $32.3 million contract to Jacobs Engineering Group to provide a range of enterprise information technology services to the service branch’s program executive office for missiles and space.
Jacobs said Tuesday it will also provide IT support for eight subordinate organizations of the Army PEO MS as well as the Army’s PEO Aviation, Edgewood Chemical Biological Center and Material System Analysis Activity.
The contract covers data center, cloud computing, network and telecommunications operations and maintenance, systems management, application development, disaster recovery planning and support, cybersecurity, information assurance and service desk operations support.
Darren Kraabel, Jacobs senior vice president for aerospace and technology, said the company aims to leverage the ITIL IT service management framework and cloud service technology in support of PEO MS operations.
Work under the contract will support as many as 2,500 users on multiple classified and unclassified military networks.
