The Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded a task order to UltiSat for services to support the agency’s Contingency Satellite Services Project.
The company will deliver satellite services that work to meet operational communications requirements for FEMA response and recovery missions along with network support for training, testing and operations, UltiSat said Monday.
UltiSat CEO Moe Abutaleb said the company will use its network design, deployment, operations and maintenance experience in emergency response to aid the operations of the Contingency Satellite Services network.
The company added that the task order was awarded under the Future COMSATCOM Services Acquisition-Custom Solutions 2-Small Business vehicle.
