SAP, Huawei and Seidor MENA have formed a partnership with the intent to develop and offer an integrated big data and Internet-of-Things management platform for enterprise customers in the Middle East.
The companies seek to combine SAP’s application software products, Huawei’s hardware and infrastructure technology experience and Seidor’s information technology consulting services in a bid to help clients implement digital transformation efforts, Huawei said Monday.
“The Middle East region is posting strong demand for cloud-based IoT solutions that can harness the power of real-time insights to simplify business operations, drive government innovation and transform daily lives,” noted Hannes Liebe, chief operating officer of SAP’s operations in the Middle East and North Africa.
SAP has worked with Huawei to develop manufacturing, transportation and energy management systems through a prior partnership agreement between the two companies.
The effort also involved an integration of Huawei’s connectivity tools and SAP’s HANA cloud-based big data platform and analytics technology.
