ICF International has secured two four-year contracts potentially worth $16.1 million combined from California’s Transportation Department.
Both contracts cover on-call environmental services for the maintenance, development and construction of Caltrans’ proposed transportation facilities in the north region, ICF said Tuesday.
David Freytag, a senior vice president for ICF International, said the company looks to continue its push to establish its position in environmental services within California and across the northwest region of the country.
He noted that ICF has existing on-call contracts with Caltrans’ headquarters and the central and southern California regions.
Specific tasks under the contract will include assisting in the preparation and processing of documents and conducting technical studies in an effort to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act, California Environmental Quality Act and other requirements.
The contract also tasks ICF to provide regulatory, project mitigation, planning and construction-phase monitoring services, the company added.
