Avnet subsidiary Avnet Government Solutions has added NetApp products and services to its General Services Administration schedule in efforts to offer data storage and management technology to government agencies.
Avnet said Wednesday it aims to give partners access to NetApp technology through Avnet’s IT Schedule 70.
Pete Rzonca, Avnet Government Solutions president, said public sector clients can use the technology to process data into actionable information.
“Government agencies understand that efficient storage and data management are crucial to delivering better public services,” said Rob Stein, NetApp vice president for U.S. public sector.
“Moving to the cloud, providing data analytics and creating operational efficiencies depend on an agency’s data.”
