FireEye and Parsons have partnered to develop a portfolio of technology and service offerings designed to minimize security risks in physical and cyber systems.
The alliance seeks to combine FireEye’s threat intelligence and information technology protection services with Parsons’ critical infrastructure management expertise, FireEye said Monday.
“Critical infrastructure providers are targeted by nation-state groups looking to improve their domestic infrastructure, cyber criminals trying to monetize customers’ data, and non-state actors working to create disruption to support a cause,” noted David DeWalt, FireEye chairman and CEO.
Parsons Chairman and CEO Chuck Harrington added the companies will work to help address cybersecurity issues in the energy, transportation, telecommunications and government sectors.
FireEye has built a virtual machine-based security technology for organizations to mitigate threat vectors throughout the cyber attack lifecycle.
