A subsidiary of ASRC Federal has been awarded a potential 45-month, $48.9 million contract to provide support services for NASA’s space communication and navigation program office.
NASA said Thursday Arctic Slope Technical Services will provide spectrum management, programmatic accounting management tools, applications, public outreach and education, Web presence and regulatory services for the program office.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract has a base term of one year and nine months that will start on Dec. 1.
Work could extend to Nov. 20, 2020 if the space agency exercises both option years.
NASA’s SCaN program office oversees all space communications operations across the agency and manages ground-based services and facilities provided by the Space Network, Near Earth Network and Deep Space Network.
