SAP, NTT Group Form Enterprise Cloud Partnership; Kevin Ichhpurani Comments

SAP and NTT Group have extended their alliance to provide enterprise cloud services to customers.

The partnership is intended to offer the joint NTT and Dimension Data cloud platform and NTT‘s information technology infrastructure services to customers in South Africa and the Asia-Pacific region, NTT said Thursday.

“NTT Group provides SAP with a critical component of enterprise-grade cloud services and extensive geographic coverage from world-class carrier and data centers,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, SAP executive vice president and head of business development and strategic ecosystem.

“This creates a compelling value proposition for NTT and SAP’s customers relying on SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud for their mission-critical applications,” Ichhpurani added.

NTT DATA uses Dimension Data’s managed cloud platforms after both companies inked a cloud agreement in May.
