Saab has been selected to upgrade the live training equipment for Bulgaria’s military under a contract with the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation.
Saab will integrate the deployable instrumented training system hardware into the client’s training systems, the company said Wednesday.
“This contract is important in that it increases the training capability of our NATO allies and helps garner strength and stability in Eastern Europe,†said Cyndi Turner, vice president and general manager for the training and simulation business unit at Saab.
Saab’s training and simulation unit is tasked to deliver the upgraded equipment.
