Neel Mehta
Diane Gongaware serves as senior director of the U.S. public sector partner organization at Cisco, where she manages the company’s collaboration with other technology providers to the sector.
She leads the organization that works with channel partners to build cloud computing, mobility, collaboration and data center platforms for federal, state, local government and education institutions.
Prior to her current role, Gongaware oversaw the company’s federal services and served as an operations director for U.S. civilian agencies.
She also led sales and marketing teams at multiple large communications firms as well as held leadership positions at venture-backed and startup information technology businesses.
Gongaware worked in a vice president role at Verizon/Bell Atlantic, where she supervised enterprise, state and local government and Internet service provider channel sectors.
She helped in the founding of the Cisco Federal Area Women’s Network and is an Industry Advisory Council member.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in business finance and an MBA degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
