Nathan Magestad, a Parsons senior project manager for the technical support services contract with the Federal Aviation Administration, is included in Engineering News-Record MidAtlantic’s 2015 Top Young Professionals list.
The recognition is given based on industry leadership, work experience, service to community and contributions to the built environment, Parsons said Wednesday.
“His ability to effectively and efficiently manage large and complicated projects has earned him respect and trust from both his staff and senior management,” said Mary Ann Hopkins, Parsons group president and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 list for 2015.
Magestad is part of the team that won the recompete of the FAA contract that seeks technical support for at least 500 airports around the U.S., which is potentially worth $1.5 billion over 10 years.
He is in charge of the Washington-based national technical region that serves as the primary point of contact for customers at FAA headquarters.
The ENR MidAtlantic magazine will feature Magestad and other Top Young Professionals in its issue on March 2.
