Neel Mehta
Stephen Kovac, a 23-year information technology veteran, serves as executive vice president for strategy and business development at Vazata‘s public sector business.
He has responsibility for the development of procurement strategies and product roadmaps in the federal, state and local government and education markets.
Prior to Vazata, he served as senior VP of sales and delivery at Pinnacle Technical Resources and worked at Verizon as a VP for the telecommunications firm’s Terremark Federal subsidiary and an area VP within its government services business.
Kovac is also a top secret clearance holder and has worked with the departments of Defense, Veterans Affairs and Health and Human Services as well as the Joint Chiefs of Staff and NATO.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University and a master’s degree from University of Missouri.
