Dell has introduced a new suite of products within its education services portfolio designed to help teachers engage students in the classroom.
Dell launched the Dell Chromebook 11, Venue 10 and Venue 10 Pro tablets, Latitude 11 Education Series laptop and the Interactive Projector S510, the company said Thursday.
“Our latest education solutions give students, teachers and IT managers the tools they need to provide an engaging learning experience,†said Sam Burd, vice president and general manager of Dell personal computing product group.
The products sport a rubberized trim to absorb shock and the Chromebook 11 features an activity light function to help teachers monitor student activity and orchestrate student groups.
Dell designed the Venue 10 and Venue 10 Pro with five different structural configurations to help students use the tablets in various positions.
The Venue 10 will be available in the spring of 2015.
The company also built the Dell Latitude 11 Education Series to be compatible with other device infrastructure.
Students will be able to engage with projected contents and share the display using the Dell Interactive Projector S510 classroom peripheral, Dell says.
