SDL has secured a Navy Enterprise Subscription License agreement with the Naval Surface Warfare Center – Carderock Division to support the service’s technical data management goals with the Standard NAVSEA Integrated Publishing Process.
The company said Tuesday it also signed a Compatibility Sustainment Agreement for the NAVSEA viewer and SDL LiveContent S1000D.
“We’re honored to help the U.S. Navy with its centralization strategy for technical data management and delivery so that field technicians and supporting contractors can more easily understand and access technical content,” said Mark Lancaster, SDL founder and chief executive officer.
SDL said SNIPP works to streamline the Navy’s content delivery process, standardize data repositories and enable data integration.
