Carahsoft to Distribute Crunchy Data’s Services in Public Sector Market; Natalie Gregory Comments

Carahsoft Technology Corp. has agreed to distribute the products and services of Crunchy Data Solutions throughout the public sector market.

Carahsoft will act as Crunchy Data’s government aggregator in an effort to spur market demand for Crunchy’s open source PostgreSQL technology offerings, Carahsoft said Wednesday.

“Through our partnership with Crunchy, we will be able to provide open source PostgreSQL to agencies requiring secure U.S.-based support and high performance management capabilities,” said Natalie Gregory, vice president of open source services at Carahsoft.

Crunchy Data provides community PostgreSQL development, on-premise database engineering and administration, secure enterprise support and PostgreSQL training services.

The systems are designed to help enterprises deploy PostgreSQL to relational database technologies.
