Unisys has been awarded five-year, $7 million contract to provide Amazon Web Services‘ cloud services for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau‘s consumer safety information initiative.
The CFPB intends to scale its information technology resources via the AWS cloud in order to fulfill consumer demand for safety information, Unisys said Thursday.
“We look forward to helping CFPB provide critical information to consumers while enforcing the country’s financial laws,” said Steve Kousen, vice president of cloud integration services at Unisys’ federal systems business.
The contract contains a one-year base period and four one-year options.
As program manager, Unisys will provide AWS cloud licensing and consulting services to the agency.
The company will also deliver billing services, quality control and roadmaps for AWS-based products and services.
