Jim Moos serves as president of the engineering solutions group at Leidos under the company’s health and engineering business sector and is in charge of the group’s business transformation and growth strategy.
He also oversees opportunities for partnerships and mergers and acquisitions to support changing client needs and developments in the field of engineering.
He previously worked at Science Applications International Corp. as program manager of the Guardian Installation Protection Program with the Defense Department, operations manager for the  company’s environmental business and deputy general manager for engineering solutions, among other roles.
Following the separation of SAIC into two publicly traded firms in 2012, Moos was part of the design team that helped form Leidos and establish the new company’s architectures, systems, functions and strategic road map.
He also previously worked with Morrison Knudsen, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and on the Nuclear Power Program of the U.S. Navy.
