Lockheed Martin will mentor Lewis Innovative Technologies on administrative support, training and technology transfer operations with the goal of helping the woman-owned small company grow its business.
Jeff MacBride, small business program manager at Lockheed’s mission systems and training division, said Thursday the U.S. Army and Defense Department will access Lewis Innovative Technologies’ system security portfolio through the DoD Mentor-Protege Program.
“We truly believe this partnership will assist Lewis Innovative Technologies in our long term growth by providing a better product to our military and DoD customers,†said Elizabeth Lewis, CEO of Lewis Innovative Technologies.
Decatur, Alabama-based Lewis Innovative Technologies will work to develop its products through Lockheed’s business infrastructure support under the mentorship program.
The small business provides analog, digital, power and systems design services.
