Ray Proctor, formerly manager of operational excellence for Eaton‘s industrial sector, has been appointed manager of the company’s manufacturing facility in Charleston, South Carolina under the aerospace group’s fuel and motion control systems division.
He will report to Mike Gallant, vice president of Eaton Aerospace’s manufacturing operations, the power management firm said Friday.
“Ray’s experience in the manufacturing environment and his in-depth understanding of our customers’ needs are strong assets for Eaton,” said Gallant.
Proctor previously worked at Schneider Electric, where he was plant manager of its facility in Columbia, South Carolina and was also employed under Eaton’s electrical sector in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
He graduated with a mechanical engineering degree from the University of South Carolina and an M.B.A. from Fayetteville State University.
