LGS Innovations has completed upgrade work on a communications infrastructure at a U.S. Army-run facility located at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
The Army’s Kuwait-based main communications facility is responsible for managing the service’s C4 operations across Southwest Asia, LGSÂ said Tuesday.
According to LGS, the C4 system modernization is part of the Pentagon’s Joint Information Environment project.
“LGS is proud to support our troops and the federal government in their network infrastructure modernization efforts so that they can focus on their missions rather than worry about network issues,” said Kevin Kelly, LGS chief executive.
The company worked with the Army to install and test all network, transmission and voice systems in the C4 center.
LGS also helped the branch migrate servers and applications from existing military facilities to the Kuwaiti information systems hub.
