Serco Inc. will help the U.S. Marine Corps hold warfighting seminars, combat rehearsals and simulations under a potential $18 million training systems support contract.
The company will deliver support for the Combat Instructor School, collaborative tools, web development, command-and-control systems and training, Serco said Friday.
“The Marines mission is critical to our national security and we are proud to support them on this effort,” said Dan Allen, Serco Inc. chairman and CEO.
More than 100 employees could be hired for the work across six international sites, the company said.
The contract has a one-year base period of performance with one six-month option for work to support the Marine Air Ground Task Force’s staff training program division.
Serco helps carry out an existing training and simulation program at the U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence in Fort Benning, Ga.
