Rami Branitzky has SAP Ventures, an independent venture capital firm affiliate with SAP AG, as managing director and will lead a global market development team.
Branitzky most recently served as CEO at Grok Solutions, formerly known as Numenta, SAPÂ announced Tuesday.
SAP Ventures noted that the global market development team will also handle business development and marketing.
The team works with SAP Ventures’ direct and indirect portfolio companies to give them access to SAP AG’s revenue network of more than 13,000 partners and 250,000 customers worldwide.
Prior to Grok Solutions, Branitzky served as a managing director at SAP Labs North America and is also a former senior vice president of SAP Global Software Solution Partnerships.
