A Mutualink-built communications system has been certified by NATO for interoperability with a military network built to facilitate data exchange among NATO special operations forces and allies.
Mutualink’s platform works to help governmental agencies share multimedia files on demand through a protected ad hoc networking system, Mutualink said Monday.
NATO approved the technology to integrate with the alliance’s Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems Network.
“This is an important approval because it enables NATO SOF partner nations to be able to securely communicate and interoperate across their respective sovereign communications and information sharing systems over a core NATO network,” said Joe Mazzarella, a Mutualink senior vice president.
The Mutualink system is built to operate without using centralized servers or switch intelligence platforms, the company says.
