John Burke, Teradata vice president, said his company and Novetta Solutions have launched an integrated cybersecurity product for U.S. enterprise clients to analyze, detect and respond to advanced persistent threats.
Novetta’s Cyber Analytics tool is designed to run on Teradata’s data analytics platform and stop any malicious activity from compromising enterprise networks, Novetta said Monday.
“Our customers want a cyber security analytics capability that minimizes the time between network intrusion, discovery and recovery,” said Burke, Teradata VP of industry marketing for financial services, insurance, health and government.
Peter LaMontagne, CEO of Novetta Solutions, said the integrated platform will be offered as part of the Teradata Unified Data Architecture suite for public and private sector clients.
Teradata’s analytics technology is built to process and store network metadata in real time, Novetta says.
The companies aim for information technology operation centers to discover malware threats and data extrusions faster by using the firms’ combined cyber analytics offering.
