Boeing will deploy Dutch cybersecurity company SecurityMatters’ intrusion detection system as part of the defense contractor’s enterprise network sentinel platform designed to identify vulnerabilities in information systems architecture.
SilentDefense ICS reviews network configuration and pinpoints malfunctions through network fingerprinting, SecurityMatters said Wednesday.
SecurityMatters’ CEO Dr. Sandro Etalle said that “more than 20 man years of university research and field experience” went into the conception of the technology as part of efforts to overcome existing cybersecurity limitations.
The product can be integrated with legacy architecture and common security information and event management systems, it added.
Boeing Information Solutions offers ENS to federal and commercial customer under its cyber and security solutions program.
