Deloitte has launched an effort to develop virtual and augmented reality training platforms using the insight of retiring government employees, GCN reported Wednesday.
Cary, N.C.-based analytics firm SAS has announced plans to invest $1B in the next three years in artificial intelligence. The company said Monday the AI investment will focus on research and development innovation; education programs meant to address client needs; and expert services to maximize customer return on AI-related projects.
Andy Jassy, CEO of Amazon Web Services, said the agility and speed that cloud offers when it comes to improving customer experiences is the primary reason why government agencies and enterprises migrate to the cloud, CRN reported Wednesday.
Celeste O’Dea, business development director for public sector technology at Oracle, has said cloud-based technologies could help federal agencies recruit a new generation of public sector workers and retain existing workforce. O’Dea wrote in a Nextgov article published Friday that human capital management and talent acquisition systems on the cloud could aid agencies in streamlining recruitment procedures and outcomes.
